Wiersholm has assisted MPC container ships
Our lawyers assisted in connection with a private placement in which the company placed new shares at a total value of approx. USD 175 million.
The proceeds from the placement will be used to fund, inter alia, the purchase of container ships. The placement is conditional on approval by the general meeting of the company, to take place in December. Following this placement, MPC Container Ships AS has raised equity in a total amount of USD 350 million, and also placed a bond issue of USD 100 million, since the company’s establishment in the spring of 2017. Wiersholm has acted as legal adviser to the company in all of these transactions.
