With the support of its major shareholder Schibsted, Adevinta has entered into an agreement with eBay to buy eBay Classifieds Group for USD 9,2 billion in a transaction.

The transaction will make Adevinta the leading global player within online classifieds. As part of the transaction, Schibsted will acquire eBay’s Danish online classifieds business.
