As a trainee in Wiersholm, you will during a five-week period, learn more about how business lawyers work.

You will be followed up by a dedicated mentor and receive continuous feedback. In addition, you will be part of an active professional environment with an open-door” policy, which means that you will never be left on your own. A good atmosphere and a sense of belonging are essential to good cooperation, and we strive to maintain an including and informal environment where smiles come easy.

What can you expect as a trainee?

During your traineeship at Wiersholm, you will be given interesting, exciting, varied and challenging tasks. You may be asked to write a closing statement, take part in the preparation of and attend client meetings, prepare cases and attend court hearings. Additionally, you will be provided with continuous constructive feedback throughout your traineeship.

A dedicated mentor will take good care of you throughout the traineeship both professionally and socially. As a trainee at Wiersholm, you are a part of our team, and welcomed at all of our professional and social events such as lunch seminars, expertise days, Friday drinks, department gatherings, office parties and weekend trips scheduled during your stay.

I have been a trainee in several firms over the last year. However, Wiersholm stands out as definitely the best firm when it comes to feedback, both with regard to the content of the feedback and when the feedback was given. Everybody I worked with was good at giving me feedback as soon as I had delivered, a few hours later at the latest.

Everybody is welcome to apply for a traineeship with us. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, inquisitive and dedicated and who like working in a team. You will benefit most from a traineeship with us if you have completed three years of your law studies.

Our trainee scheme is popular, and we therefore recommend you to apply early. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, and preferably well before start-up.
