Responsible Business Trainee

An unique trainee experience

Through our corporate partnership with Save the Children Norway, we offer a traineeship where you can contribute to the work for children’s rights in Norway and abroad.

The Responsible Business Trainee scheme is a two-part traineeship. The first period of your traineeship is with Wiersholm, giving you a good insight into our world. Read more about being a trainee in Wiersholm.

After your stay with us, you will be working on a dedicated project in cooperation with Save the Children. During this period you will be working both with us and with Save the Children. You will be closely followed up by Wiersholm’s lawyers and by Save the Children employees during the project.

Being a Responsible Business Trainee is an instructive and exciting way of working with a new area of law. We prepared a problem statement in the intersection between children's law and immigration law that resulted in a report. We were given a lot of responsibility and got to work closely with Save the Children and meet other key participants.

Application

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, inquisitive and dedicated, and who like working in a team. To become a Responsible Business Trainee you must have completed three years of your law studies.

Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, and preferably well before start-up.

The Responsible Business Trainee programme gives you the opportunity to work in a legal area outside business law. We were working on an issue within immigration law, brought about by the Farida case heard by the Supreme Court in 2018. The work was exciting and instructive and resulted in a report we wrote for Save the Children
