Both Finansavisen’s Lawyers Survey and the Chambers Global ranking, both presented on 13 February, highlight Wiersholm’s dispute resolution expertise. In the Lawyers Survey, Wiersholm has four lawyers on the top ten list in the category “Civil Law Litigation”, and in Chambers Global, three out of six lawyers ranked at the top level (Band 1) in the category “Dispute Resolution” are from Wiersholm.

In the Lawyers Survey, the legal industry has voted for the best lawyers, while Chambers Global is mainly based on feedback from clients.

Most top-ranked litigation lawyers in Wiersholm

The Lawyers Survey ranks lawyers by points, and, across all categories, Wiersholm received the most points. In the category Civil Law Litigation, the Wiersholm lawyers Morten Goller, Thomas G. Naalsund, Stephan L. Jervell and Magnus Hellesylt are among the ten highest ranked.

In Chambers Global 2020, Wiersholm is top ranked in four categories, including Dispute Resolution. In total, Wiersholm has five lawyers on the Dispute Resolution ranking list, three of them at the top level: Morten Goller, Magnus Hellesylt and Stephan Jervell. The top level consists of a total of six lawyers, which means that half of them are from Wiersholm. The remaining three lawyers come from separate law firms.

Chambers Global quotes several clients, who have provided feedback on Wiersholm. One client states that they are “very impressed by the firm’s strategic litigation insight” and adds that Wiersholm is “very practical and collaborative”. Chambers Global describes Wiersholm as an “outstanding and sizeable full-service group advising clients on a wide range of disputes, including international matters”.

Extensive experience

– In addition to having the highest-ranking lawyers, we also have the most extensive expertise, says Lund. – In total, we have 80 lawyers on the team, including some of the foremost legal experts in several areas of law.

In the Lawyers Survey, many of the lawyers in Wiersholm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group are also ranked among the top ten in other disciplines. Morten Goller is the country’s number one in Public Procurement, and Stephan Jervell is on the list of the best in the International Lawyer category.
