Haugsdal and Ottesen new partners at Wiersholm
Both are being promoted from Managing Associates to partners after several years of experience in the firm.

Elisabeth Lian Haugsdal has a master’s degree in law from the University of Oslo in 2012. She also has an LLM in competition law from King’s College London and studied economics and management at BI Norwegian Business School. Elisabeth has been working at Wiersholm since 2017, when she joined the firm as a Senior Associate after having been a legal advisor at the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels for two years. Before that, she was a trainee solicitor at Wikborg Rein. Elisabeth works with competition law, EU/EEA law, state aid law, as well as administrative law and dispute resolution.

Kristian Elvestad Ottesen has a master’s degree in law from the University of Oslo in 2012. He also has a project management education from Molde University College in 2015. Kristian started at Wiersholm as a Senior Associate in 2016. He came to Wiersholm from a position as a deputy judge at Nedre Telemark District Court. Before that, he was a trainee solicitor at Thommessen. Kristian assists Norwegian and international companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions as well as advice related to company law.
