Anne Marie Sejersted continues as chair of NIR and the Norwegian AIPPI group.
Our Partner, Anne Marie Sejersted, will continue as Chair of the Norwegian Industrial Property Association (NIR) and the Norwegian AIPPI group for a new two-year term.
NIR is a key meeting place for the intellectual property community in Norway, with members from the legal profession, business sector, public administration, and academia. The association works to promote knowledge of intellectual property law and facilitate professional exchange, while also being part of the international AIPPI network.
– I greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue in this role. NIR is an important arena for discussing developments in intellectual property law and for connecting different parts of the professional community, says Anne Marie.
The association has long-standing traditions and has, for many years, hosted breakfast meetings (“Waterholes”) where current intellectual property topics are on the agenda. These meetings are characterized by broad thematic scope and a high academic level, with contributions from a range of distinguished speakers.
The Waterhole meetings have for many years been held at Wiersholm’s premises. We are pleased to make our offices available for this established and important meeting place for the professional community, and we look forward to continuing our cooperation with NIR.
