Investing in children, young people and education lays the foundation for social development and growth – both locally and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our collaboration with Save the Children is based on shared values and goals, but also on our complementary skills. While Save the Children are experts on the rights of the child with an extensive presence in over 100 countries, Wiersholm’s lawyers bring their business law expertise and a strong position in the Nordic business community. Together, we create a synergy that enables greater influence and impact for the rights of the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The collaboration runs along three axes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Pro-bono consulting according to Save the Children’s needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Financial support for the Green Generation climate adaptation project in Cambodia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- A joint trainee scheme called Responsible Business Trainee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\n
The collaboration with Wiersholm is unique. Save the Children is a rights organisation, where all work is rooted in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. <\/figure>\nPro bono advice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
It is important for us to take responsibility for the society in which our business operates. One of the ways we contribute is by assisting Save the Children with pro bono advice on legal issues – both to relieve Save the Children’s administration, but also to advise the organisation’s management on current legal issues.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\nFinancial support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
As part of our partnership with Save the Children, we support the Green Generation climate adaptation project in Cambodia – a collaboration between Save the Children and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The overall aim of the project is to increase children and young people’s knowledge of the environment and climate, and to involve children in environmental measures against climate change that affects them directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wiersholm donates money to the project annually. In addition, many Wiersholm employees donate an optional amount to the project through a fixed monthly payroll deduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
