A client-focused international approach<\/h1>\n\n\n

Our international approach is designed to best meet our clients’ needs. Wiersholm has a broad network of international relationships and lawyers with significant international experience. We assist Norwegian companies in establishing themselves abroad, and we assist foreign companies operating or wishing to establish themselves in Norway. We give players access to our extensive network of law firms and partners, which covers more than 100 jurisdictions and is the result of systematic work and long-term relationships. The network consists exclusively of first-class firms and is carefully managed by our international committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From our bases in Oslo and Trondheim, we assist our clients wherever they are or want to go in the world. We advise Norwegian companies on a wide range of international matters, collaborate seamlessly across borders and ensure a seamless and consistent client experience. We make sure they are up to date on international best practices and trends of importance to Norwegian businesses. We also regularly assist foreign companies in Norway, and have extensive experience with cases before the EFTA Court and the European Court of Human Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Many of our lawyers have education or work experience from key jurisdictions outside of Norway, with a significant number also holding current foreign licenses to practice (for example in England, USA, Germany, Sweden and Denmark). Their international expertise gives us a natural ability to build bridges across borders and makes us a preferred legal advisor in cross-border transactions or cases. Many of our lawyers have also been on secondment to international law firms, and in return we regularly welcome international secondee lawyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
