Helene’s main practice areas are compliance, climate and environmental law, human rights and national security. She holds a Master’s Degree from France, Universit\u00e9 Paris II Panth\u00e9on-Assas, where she was affiliated with a research project concerning international rules on corporate social responsibility (CSR) of large multinational corporations. Helene has particular expertise in climate and environmental law issues and assists companies with matters related to pollution law, nature conservation, circular economy, as well as issues related to the EU’s new sustainability regulations, such as CSRD, CSDDD, and the EU’s deforestation regulation. Helene has solid experience and expertise in national security issues, and she assists companies in relation to compliance work, personnel security and FDI filings, and she handles contact with public authorities. Helene’s work include investigation and litigation, as well as handling criminal cases within her main practice areas. She has led international and national investigations, for instance concerning potential human rights violations and economic crimes in several jurisdictions. <\/p>\n
Helene also provides compliance training and lectures within all her practice areas. She contributes to the organization of Norway’s largest one-day compliance event, the Oslo Compliance Forum. In addition, Helene is one of the founders of “Young in Compliance” in Norway and an initiator of the legal industry’s Green Forum. She is also the course leader for the Sustainability Day, organized by JUS, and is a board member of the Buisness and Human Rights Lawyers Association.<\/p>\n
