In an interview with business newspaper Dagens Næringsliv, Wiersholm partners Sverre Sandvik and Harald Hellebust describe the development in the market in the first half of 2017 and the prospects for the time ahead. “It is shaping up to be a good autumn with a lot of activity in the transaction market. There is every indication that the favourable trend of the last few years will continue,” Hellebust says to DN.

The statistics from Mergermarket are based on transactions with a value of more than USD 5 million and transactions whose value is confidential, but where target has a turnover which exceeds USD 10 million. Transactions where the share sold is less than 30% are only included if the transaction value is greater than USD 100 million.
