Thomas provides advice and dispute resolution services, including litigation and negotiations, to Norwegian and foreign clients, particularly within the energy sector (oil and gas). His experience extends to both contractual and regulatory issues. He also has particular experience within public procurement, state aid and competition law as well as insurance/pension related issues.
Thomas is admitted to the Supreme Court and litigates regularly before Norwegian courts and arbitration panels. In addition, he also has experience from international arbitration, the EFTA Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 have ranked Thomas as one of Norway's most prominent lawyers on dispute resolution, competition law and public procurement. In addition, he is ranked as one of Norway’s leading lawyers on procurement law in the Norwegian Financial Daily’s annual lawyers' survey.
