Ronny specialises in litigation, dispute resolution and contract law, and has particular experience with contracts for the purchase of goods made to the buyer’s specifications. His background from the Office of the City Advocate in Oslo has given him good insight into and experience in adjacent areas of law, including administrative law and the rules pertaining to public procurement.

Ronny has litigated complex cases in various areas of law for many years. On the basis of his broad litigation experience before Norwegian courts, as well as before Norwegian and international courts of arbitration, Ronny heads Wiersholm’s dispute resolution department. The department has the largest dispute resolution environment in the Nordics, with more than 60 lawyers working in various industries and specialist fields.

Ronny is a much used and recognised arbitrator. Furthermore, he has a great interest in out-of-court dispute resolution and is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association’s Mediation Committee. He is a certified mediator, and considered one of Norway’s leading mediators in respect of construction law. Ronny has also been an important contributor to the development of the Mediation Centre (NW: Meklingssenteret), the object of which is to facilitate mediation in the building and construction industry.

Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 have ranked Ronny as one of Norway’s leading litigation and dispute resolution lawyers. In addition, he is ranked as one of Norway’s leading construction law lawyers.
